I WAS AT A LOSS
A little over 4 years ago, I found myself at a loss with trying to meet someone "In the wild". Apps like POF and eHarmony were not doing the trick either - lots of "I'm interested" but mainly men just looking for hook-ups.
So I joined a Nova Scotia Facebook group for singles and tried my luck there, and was met with pretty much the same thing. That is where I met Krista - a kindred spirit who would soon become my closest confidant, cheerleader and sister. She was there for me every single step of the way of my online dating experience - from the first tremulous "Hello" to a man I wanted to meet, to being there for the day that same man and I got married!
She has been my coach when I was nervous for my first dates, my high five when I was brave, my cheerleader when I wasn't so brave, and my therapist when my anxiety took over.
